The Value of Friendship

I tend to post a lot about my relationships with my core group of friends here at Ohio Northern (ONU). They're basically my entire life on campus. We spend every day together rather it be silly adventures or just sitting as a group to study for our upcoming assignments. Our academic backgrounds are diverse coming from business, pharmacy and nursing. The one thing that never fails to blow my mind is how we never saw each other coming. I became friends with Anna through us randomly deciding to be roommates when we moved into the Delta Zeta house last fall after traveling together for University Singers in May 2018. We quickly realized how similar we were and it was a match made in some sort of heaven. Maddy lived down the hall from us though we never really interacted until everyone was snowed into the dorms this past January. I owe my everything to what we coined "Snowmageddon 2019". After that weekend we became a power trio. Fast forward to November 2019. We've all agreed to sign a lease for an off-campus house for Maddy and I's senior year (2020-2021). We've been there for support as Anna and Maddy both experienced the ending of their relationships that had both been five years in length. We've made each other laugh so hard we cry and sometimes can't even breathe. We've changed each other's lives.

I can never pay back what that snow storm gave to me. Through my relationship with Anna and Maddy I've learned more about myself than ever before. I'm a better person when we're all together. Stay tuned as we move forward because our shenanigans won't be ending any time soon.
