God Bless Ticketmaster Presale
You may be slightly confused by the title of this post. This is a sort of follow-up to my post from last week about the return of Harry Styles in anticipation of his new album. As soon as he announced his upcoming tour, I registered to possibly be chosen for ticket presale which opened on Monday. As I was working on homework Sunday evening, I received an email that I had been approved for the presale along with my code to get in the next morning. I cried. Within minutes I was on the phone with my best friend from home telling her that we would hopefully have tickets the next morning for his Cleveland performance on July 15, 2020. On Monday morning I woke up early to log into the website, skipped my first class of the day and waited for the sale to open. As soon as it went live, I was attempting to get in on both my laptop and iPad with Ally on the phone to keep up with what was happening.
After the longest 45 minutes of my life I made it in. My hands were actually shaking as I typed in all of my information, and suddenly the deal was done. I had two tickets for the Cherry General Admission Pit at the concert I've been waiting two years for. The ticket is a Christmas gift to myself, or at least that's how I've been able to justify it. Either way I have them and have already begun counting down the days until I get to see my favorite artist live and up close. I know sometimes Ticketmaster can be a bit ridiculous with pricing and fees, but this time I couldn't be more grateful for them. Only 238 days left!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you were able to get your tickets! I am in the process of convincing my parents that we should get Elton John tickets! I’ll let you know how it goes.
Thanks for sharing,
Alyson
I'm so happy you got approved and got the tickets early. It always sucks when you're really excited to see someone in concert and by the time you get the tickets, you can only get them for the nosebleeds section. I hope you have the best time at the concert and I hope he puts on a great show.
