Forever a Delta Zeta
Each year, the Delta Zeta homecoming luncheon comes around. We welcome back our alumnae with open arms as they come home excited to see what the chapter has been up to. This year was special, as we celebrated our 60 year anniversary on Ohio Northern's campus. I decided that this was the event that I wanted to live tweet for this social media class since it was something I really was looking forward to!
I began my tweets as our event began and the women started to enter the Delta Zeta house on campus in Affinity. I quickly found myself in conversation with a few alumnae from the 1980's regarding how the chapter runs events today, as well as chatting about myself and where I am headed in my own career. This explains a few gaps in my tweets throughout the event. As the event went on, I shared my experiences and the thoughts of the other sisters that were in attendance. Overall, documenting the experience for this course really made me take a step back to think about how special of a time homecoming is for everyone on campus. I am so grateful for Delta Zeta, and the home it has given me the past two years and into my future.
